What's New in Real Estate - December 2020
Greetings!
I hope you have been enjoying a wonderful holiday season despite these unusual times! The New Year is upon us and I am hopeful that it will be a great one! The New Year is a great time to reflect on the year that has passed, and in real estate, 2020 was quite the surprise! With the unbelievably low interest rates, we sold a record amount of real estate and at record prices as well! It has certainly been a sellers market in 2020! If I had a crystal ball, I would predict an even more robust spring market! Buyers are already starting to look, and right now, inventory is not looking abundant, so I believe it will be another strong year for sellers, and it may be a tough year again for buyers -- anticipate a continuation of bidding wars and the need to waive standard contingencies such as mortgage and inspections in order to win!

If a real estate transaction is in your future, please reach out -- I'm here to help!
Sending you good wishes and great health in the New Year,
