What's New in Real Estate - January 2020
Greetings!
As we ring in the new year, I wanted to share my thoughts on what 2020 will bring in real estate! All signs suggest it will continue to be an excellent market for sellers in the under $1million market. We continue to have a severe inventory shortage, so if you are a seller contemplating a move, there could not be a better time to put your home on the market. Don't forget -- our spring market begins in February so be sure to reach out to me soon if a move is in your future this year. Buyers -- all signs suggest another challenging year. Anticipate bidding wars again this year and make sure you are as well prepared as possible to present a really strong offer. 2019 was an exceptional year, both for my personal business and for our market! 2020 promises to be even more remarkable!

I am always so very grateful to all of you for your continued support of my business. After an incredible year, I am pleased to report that I finished #1 in Sewickley again this year (for the 6th consecutive year) and am so appreciative of the opportunity to serve your real estate needs! If I can help you, a family member, neighbor or friend, either with a transaction, or if you just need some advice, please be sure to reach out to me!
With gratitude,

We’re hoping to move in the New Year and are beginning our search online – is there anything we should keep in mind?
The majority of buyers will shop online during their search for a new home, and many will actually begin their search there, like yourselves!

SELLER BEWARE!

We were approached by someone who is interested in buying our home. The buyer has provided us with an unsigned sales agreement as their offer. They are offering 1.5% of the purchase price as their hand money and we assume they have the money – its a cash offer. Are we wasting our time with these buyers?
The very short answer is yes! For starters, to be a valid offer, it must be in writing and signed. Without a signed contract, you have...
