What's New in Real Estate - August 2020
Greetings!
Well this summer has certainly been a whirlwind in real estate -- despite the seeming unending pandemic, we have seen an unprecedented surge of buyers and homes are selling fast, often with multiple offers. Even our ultra-high end market, which had been nearly dead for years, has seen significantly increased traffic in June and July. Nationwide, showable listings are down 23%, and regionally showings have increased 40% per listing over where they were last year, on average.

There is a lot to do to get your home ready to be embraced by the market -- from decluttering and staging to deep cleaning and readying for professional photos. Of course, I can help guide you through all of that! If you are thinking 2021 might be your year to sell, now is definitely the time to get ready - its never a bad idea to get your photos done while its still green out! Please reach out if I can help you with your real estate needs!
Sending you good wishes and great health,

Understanding Realtor-ese! from the Ask Kathe Archives

Why don’t realtors use plain language to advertise their listings? How are we to be able to translate what they write so that we know what a home really has to offer?
The first step in selling a home is marketing that home, and sometimes the brutal truth is just not going to attract a buyer. We figure that if we can at least...
