Volunteers Needed
Each week while we are worshiping via Zoom, we need an assisting minister and lector to help out. We also need someone to assist with running the PowerPoint presentation, and one or two choir members to meet with Hector on Saturdays at Schaeffer Chapel to record the hymns for that week - please consider volunteering! The Word This Sunday
July 26, 2020 - Eighth Sunday after Pentecost
As Solomon prays for wisdom, we seek to more deeply know the treasures of faith. In today’s gospel Jesus offers everyday images that reveal to us the reign of God: a tree that becomes a sheltering home, yeast that penetrates and expands, a treasured pearl, a net that gains a great catch. Even as we seek the riches of God’s reign, the great surprise is that God’s grace finds us first!

Solomon’s prayer for wisdom

When your word is opened, it gives light and understanding. (Ps. 119:130)
Nothing can separate us from God’s love

How to Help the
Community Garden!

Want to help with the Epiphany Community Garden but unable to join us on our work days? We have a task for you! With the critical need for fresh food in our area, we’re planning for a great production this year! Since greens are the most favored produce by the clients at the Collierville Food Pantry, we are planning on planting a heavy fall crop starting just after Labor Day.

If you can help put together seed tapes, please contact Wendell Kruse or Jennifer Sykes - all supplies and instructions will be provided!
Our study of Bad Girls of the Bible continues on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 7 pm. We will be meeting via Zoom - please join us and invite a friend - click this link!).  This study will meet the 4th Tuesday of every month through September 22, 2020. Our chosen book for this study is Bad Girls of the Bible (and What We Can Learn from Them) by Liz Curtis Higgs. Please read chapters 5 and 6 prior to our meeting on July 28th.
