Blowing the shofar is a sacred act signifying a spiritual alarm clock, calling listeners to wake up, repent, and renew their relationship with God, especially during Rosh Hashanah. Its sounds serve to inspire reverence, serve as a spiritual battle cry, and remind people of pivotal moments like Abraham's binding and Mount Sinai. The shofar's hollow form also symbolizes humanity's need for God's spirit, and its sound is a powerful, difficult-to-ignore summons to reflect on actions and seek inner transformation.

Congregation B'nai Midbar (CBM) members should have received their HHDs tickets in a personal email early last week. Please bring your tickets to services and check in at the membership table.

If you have not received your tickets by email, they will be available at the Welcome Table when you check in.

Please contact Joy Erickson at infocbm18@gmail.com if you have any questions about HHDs for non-members or guest tickets.
