RE-LIVE: A Tale of An American Island Cheerleader
Emmy-nominated Filipina-Guamanian actress Rain Valdez is looking to direct and star in her next movie on the island of Guam. Along with her producers, Shant Joshi of Fae Pictures and Myracle Mugol from GIFF, the team is currently seeking both high-net-worth investors and corporate sponsors for the movie, scheduled to shoot in April of 2022. The team is working on legislating a tax benefit for Guam-based corporate sponsors to establish a training and mentorship program for Guamanian filmmakers to build a local film and TV industry and economy on Guam. The team is also offering 10% interest for equity investments upwards of $25,000, and 20% interest for equity investments upwards of $100,000. Their fundraising goal is $1,200,000. The team is in negotiations for North American and worldwide distribution with companies like Netflix, Neon, Bohemia Media, and Cinetic Media. The interim closing date for this opportunity is August 31, 2021.
