"Readymade Emanations" Exhibition Opening Reception


UCSB Library invites you to a public reception celebrating the opening of "Readymade Emanations: Trianon Press and the Art of Tearing Apart." This new exhibition examines the legacy of Trianon Press, a 20th century fine art publisher based in Paris that perfected a painstaking technique of reproducing original artwork, such as William Blake's illuminated books.

History In Motion: Home Movie Collection and Preservation

The Library’s Santa Barbara Community Archives Project is partnering with the Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society (SBCGS) to promote the importance of home movie collections.


Bring your eligible films to SBCGS for free off-site digitization by UCSB Library staff.

New Taylor & Francis Open Access Agreement

The University of California (UC) and Taylor & Francis (T&F) reached a new four-year read and publish agreement that will make it easier and more affordable for UC researchers to publish open access (OA) articles in T&F journals.


The new partnership advances a mutual goal to empower more UC authors - especially in the humanities and social sciences - to share their scholarship openly with readers around the globe.
