Rev. Bill Sparks, sermon is entitled

“Still One Nation Under God” based on Galatians 5:1, 13-15.

Putting Out Fires—Inside and Out

So, if the Son sets you free, you will be FREE INDEED. John 8: 36

Freedom: It's something we cherish and take for granted in this country. The idea of a free society is embedded into the very core of our nation. Many have died defending it and many have fought diligently to preserve it.

In the words of the late Marvin Gaye, "What's going on?" We have become a nation bound by division, chained by hatred, consumed by selfishness, and allowing any and everything to exist.

Recently, I read this interesting article by Steve May concerning the fire and passion of the Church:

Putting Out Fires

The firefighters in Hallandale, FL, returned from an emergency call one day to discover that they forgot to turn off a burner on the firehouse stove that was heating oil for fried potatoes. The result was a blaze that caused 10,000 dollars in damage,

The Chief said, "We tell people not to do that kind of stuff, but then, we all make mistakes."

Likewise, the Church must be careful not to let fires of sin, discord, and false teaching overtake it from the inside while we work to win the lost on the outside.

This Sunday our Worship schedule is as follows: 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

People come to church and Jesus Christ by invitation, so please invite your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to join you this Sunday in worship.

Save The Date:

Sunday, July 27th Fellowship, Food & Fun Event 11:30-2pm

Legacy Planning: What to Know About Burial Options at PCUMC

If you are considering pre-planning funeral arrangements to ease the transition for your descendants, here is a clear cost comparison table for traditional burial, and columbarium interment, based on recent U.S. averages. It would be beneficial to do this planning with the assistance of a local Funeral Director of your choosing.

For additional information on the columbaria in PCUMC’s Memorial Garden, please see the â€śMemorial Garden” tab on our website palmcoastchurch.org.

Church Grief Group Sessions

Loss is an inevitable part of life, yet its impact often feels anything but natural. The void it creates, the longing it stirs, and the questions it raises can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. During such times, finding a supportive environment where one can process emotions and confront the complexities of grief becomes essential.

The start-up of Church Grief Workshops begins on Wednesday, July 16th, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Sparks in the Beachside Meeting Room at the church.

Please call the church office to register for attendance, 386-445-1600

A huge thank you to the ladies from the Grand Haven Women's Club! They are committed every Saturday to packing ALL the meals for Our Father's Table! We couldn't fulfill our mission without them! In addition to their weekly packing commitment, this generous group of women recently donated $2,000 to help us continue God's work feeding our community.
