Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with celebration! Come before him with shouts of joy!  Psalm 100:1-2

GOOD MORNING, Palm Coast!!!! Do you have anything to be thankful for this day. I know I’m thankful for everyday that I wake up. Hear the birds singing and the flowers blooming. Then Reds, the dog, running around in circles wanting his breakfast. Then looking forward to his walk around the block. Sniffing and enjoying where he is right now in his life. Knowing he has a place to live, a meal and a place to sleep. Maybe we should be that way with our lives. For the last few years, I have been fighting a battle with prostate cancer and one of my lymph nodes in my right leg. When the doctor told me I had cancer he was surprised I didn’t show any emotions, he asked me if I was alright. I told him I was good. I’m not worried it will be a win, win situation for me. If I lose the battle to cancer I know where I’m going and if or when I win, I know where I’m going. To continue to “Praise the Lord!! So now after 1 year and a half of treatments. Total of 48 radiation and a year and a half of hormone therapy with about another 9 months to go. On a side note, now I understand women’s menopause. The hot flashes, mood swings, tiredness in the afternoon and the battle with my wife Connie fan on, fan off, ac up ac down. I truly know that God has his hand it, his healing hands.

 As I go on those morning walks with my dog Reds. I listen to the birds, look at the flowers, always amazed at the beauty and the different senses enjoying them even more now. As I wake up, I know the good Lord will continue to give me the strength to get through the day and I am able to play softball 3 times a week. Trying to be an inspiration to others that God has blessed me and he can do the same for you.

  So, as we look into the rest of Psalm 100. God made us, we belong to him, we are his people. We should be thankful to him. Bless his name! The Lord is good, and his love lasts forever.

  So, when we wake up every morning we should shout to the Lord. PRAISE GOD! Take the time to enjoy the flowers, the walks and the blessings.

Church Grief Group Sessions

Loss is an inevitable part of life, yet its impact often feels anything but natural. The void it creates, the longing it stirs, and the questions it raises can leave individuals feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. During such times, finding a supportive environment where one can process emotions and confront the complexities of grief becomes essential.

The start-up of Church Grief Workshops begins Today, Wednesday, July 16th, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Waters in the Beachside Meeting Room at the church.

Music Leader

We are seeking a passionate and spiritually grounded Music Leader to coordinate, lead, and enrich the musical elements of our worship services. This individual will collaborate closely with the Pastor and Music Teams to deliver both Contemporary and Traditional worship experiences that reflect the heart and mission of our diverse and growing congregation.



Youth Ministry Pastor/Director

We are also seeking a part-time Youth Ministry Pastor/Director. The primary focus of this position is nurturing the spiritual formation of the youth touched by the ministries of PCUMC. The successful candidate will work with volunteers and youth leaders to develop, plan, and execute ministry programs and activities that reflect the mission, vision, and values of PCUMC.

July 27 - FUN SUNDAY

There will be two worship experiences at 8:30 & 10:30 a.m. Join us on the back lawn for a picnic from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, games, Corn Hole tournament, and prizes. All are invited!
