Dear Members and Friends,



On Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, we will have the honor of accepting four of our youth into our church membership through Confirmation.

Our confirmands are Gabrille Alford, Houston White, Caroline Patin, and Taylynn Harvey These students have learned from the lesson provided What it Means to be a Christian and a United Methodist, History of the United Methodist Church, Living Our Lives Together as Methodist, Our Faith and Calling, and Rituals of Our Faith.

Although not a sacrament, confirmation is an important marker along the spiritual journey. Students explore their faith and decide about committing to and learning more about being a Methodist, about Jesus Christ and His saving grace and how all of this is connected to their individual lives.

Beginning March 23, shepherding these students on their journey of learning , in their Confirmation Classes, we have been blessed to have these outstanding teachers, Mrs. Linda James, Mrs. Yvette Bynum, Mrs. Rachel Patin, and Mrs. Clarissa West-White. Thank you to your commitment to our students and the exceptional lessons you prepared and delivered to our students for their faith development.
