Chamber in Pictures
presented by
Gresham Arts Festival
Looks like owners of Armworks Hand Therapy are doing a little hand therapy by waving at the successful Gresham Art Festival. I bet they applauded the marimba band as well. FUN event!

Interior of Dutch Bros Kane Street location
Been slowed up by any of the traffic detours? Paving projects? Bridge upgrades? Remember that businesses suffer in the detours too. Dutch Bros on Kane has been impacted by the Kane road closure. Let’s shop local especially during detour inconveniences.
Interior of Wood Village Burrito
Wood Village Burrito Shop joined the Gresham Chamber last September. They are just one of the new businesses that has helped the chamber reach our ALL TIME highest membership!  Thanks to all new and renewing members for trusting the Gresham Area Chamber.

Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce Board Room
1005 N Main Avenue, Suite 101, Gresham

Chamber 101 is one of our favorite events at the Chamber because we have the opportunity to chat with many of our new (and aspiring) members as well as folks who are new to businesses that may be long-standing members. It's a great way to learn more about the Chamber. During the short session, we:
  • Learn how to take advantage of marketing and exposure available through Chamber membership
  • Discover how to maximize opportunities available for your business within the Chamber
  • Give you an opportunity to meet others in the "freshman class"
We hope you can join us. Chamber 101 is a ton of fun and usually includes stories from staff and members alike that help build an understanding of creative ways to plug in.

Sickeningly Sweet: A typical 16 oz. soft drink has about 200 calories—all from sugar. Sugar contains 16 calories per teaspoon, so that beverage is brimming with 12.5 teaspoons of sugar. That’s more than twice the amount in a Snicker’s bar!

Do your smoothies need a flavor boost? Try adding a drop of your favorite citrus oil. What about your cocktails? Add a drop of lime to your margarita or make a simple syrup complete with a complimentary CPT grade eo's.

Never unbox an item and plug it in without changing the default username and password, most companies use a generic or conventional that can be looked up or guessed.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) places a strong emphasis on seasonal eating and temperature. Eat what is available during the season and create a balanced menu. For example, ginger is considered a warming food in TCM, but it is often served with cold food such a sushi to help create develop a balance. Designing a balanced diet for Summer can be both fun and challenging!

TOP THINGS TO DO IN OREGON THIS SUMMER

Summer in Oregon means floating on shimmering rivers, devouring triple scoops of ice cream in fresh waffle cones and sipping frosty pints of craft beer during rooftop concerts. But at the state’s most iconic sites, it can also mean crowds. The scores of folks traveling here is understandable given the undeniable beauty and buzzing activity of the season. Still, summer isn’t for taking the paths most trodden — it’s prime time for uncovering the state’s best-kept secrets and revealing a fresh side of much-loved spots you may think you know well.
