Flag day commemorates the official adoption of the United States Flag on June 14, 1777. The first flag had thirteen stripes alternating red and white with 13 stars on a blue background. The stars, representing the 13 colonies, were arranged in a circle showing all colonies were equal. Once a year ON Semiconductor proudly has this display at their company entrance.

This year our businesses were stretched and challenged a lot like the game Twister. As we reignite our economy, lets not forget to shop local - vendor to vendor. If you don’t have what your customer needs, recommend a fellow Chamber member. Sue Hughes, Resolutions and CaSaundra Garber, formerly with Gresham-Barlow Youth Baseball/Softball might look like they are competing, but business peers help business peers.
