While you need not be a member to participate, two newer chamber members jumped in and adopted police officers. Willard Power Vac and The Village Retirement Center both registered early to make sure they got police officers.

Some businesses had specific requests for police officers, For instance some requested a particular officer that has been particularly helpful to that business.   Shop Girl Consignment is an example of a business making a request. They wanted to show support for a minority member of the police force. Makala fit their request.

You need not be a chamber member to be part of the Adopt-A-Cop program. Gresham Locksmith, a long time Chamber member, and this homeowner, a nonmember, are two examples. They both wanted to “unlock” their support for our officers.

Anderson Martial Arts, at the corner of 4^th and Roberts, not only is showing their support of Officer Alexis to the cars that drive by and see the green support sign in the window, but they are also showing their 100’s of martial arts students and their families of their police officer support.
