The Heart of Virginia Council Leadership Center and Scout Shop are CLOSED on
Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th in honor of Independence Day.
| Scouts from across the Heart of Virginia Council joined hundreds of volunteers, including Governor Abigail Spanberger, at the Virginia War Memorial to help create the inspiring Hill of Heroes. Nearly 12,000 American flags now blanket the hillside, each one honoring a Virginian who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. It was a powerful reminder that remembering our heroes is not just something we say. It is something we do. See all of the photos. | | | |
