The Messengers of Peace award celebrates Scouts who take action to improve their communities and the world. Whether it's leading a food drive, creating a mental health awareness campaign, restoring a habitat, or promoting kindness in schools, Scouts can make a global impact through local service. Tiger & Lion Rally
November 1st at Cub Adventure Camp
Get ready for a day of adventure at the Tiger & Lion Rally on Saturday, November 1st at Cub Adventure Camp! Families will enjoy activities designed especially for kindergarten and 1st grade Scouts, including archery, wrist rockets, fishing, BMX biking, crafts, and more. Registration is just $8 per participant and includes all activities and a commemorative patch, with cafeteria lunches available for $5. Older Scouts and siblings are welcome to join in the fun, so bring the whole family for an afternoon packed with excitement!

The Nightmare Before Thanksgiving Camporee
October 31st—November 2nd
Join Arrohattoc and Crater Districts for a weekend of outdoor activities at the Nightmare Before Thanksgiving Fall Camporee on October 31st to November 2nd at Chesterfield County Fairgrounds. The skills needed will be many and varied, but will probably include knot-tying, orienteering, team-work, cooking, balance, and other Scout skills and knowledge. Patrols will earn currency at each station to "spend" at the live auction.
