View and Manage Visited Places in Maps on iPhone
Think about the last time you tried to remember every stop you made on a weekend trip or a busy workday.
Most people guess or search old receipts.
Here's a Cool Tip: Use the Visited Places in Apple Maps.
The Visited Places feature in Apple Maps gives you a clean way to see where you have been and tidy up your history whenever you want.
Feature Explanation
Visited Places is part of Apple Maps on iOS 26.
It creates a private list of locations you have visited, such as restaurants, hotels, stores, parks, and client offices.
The information stays on your iPhone and does not sync to Apple servers.
You can browse the list, search it, correct entries, write notes, or delete anything you do not want stored. It acts as a personal travel log without the need for another app.
