Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord - June 1, 2025

The celebration of the Ascension of the Lord reminds us that Jesus gave His followers a mission. He told them to go into the whole world and share the Gospel...Every Catholic can do this in daily life. Simple actions like kindness, honesty, and inviting someone to Mass can show faith. Jesus did not stay in one place. He reached out to all people. We are called to do the same.

The Ascension of the Lord also teaches that we are not alone in this mission. Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen us. When we trust in God, He helps us find the right words and moments to share our faith. Spreading the Gospel does not have to be difficult. It is about showing others that Jesus is real and that His love can change lives. One small act of faith can make a big difference. Young Catholics
