Hello M.C.,

It seems nearly impossible that Autumn is knocking on our doors. Summer went by in a blur of fantastic activity. I have been blessed to continue to work with some of our long-time clients and welcome new ones into the fold.

I am often asked what type of businesses engage our services. Truthfully, I have been pleased and surprised by the variety of businesses that MCBCreative has worked with thus far.

  • Artists & makers
  • Charitable and community organizations
  • Manufacturing and light-industrial companies
  • Magazines & news outlets
  • Professional services companies

Although they are from very different walks, all of our clients are passionate about what they do. That passion and enthusiasm is infectious and it is always a pleasure to be a part of their journey as they are a part of mine.

Cheers!

Custom vs. Stock Images

Your business deserves more than cookie-cutter visuals. With custom photography, authenticity, storytelling, and creativity take center stage. A personalized, brand-based approach can showcase your team, tell your unique story, and reflect your business' values in every shot.

It's an investment in a future where your visuals remain fresh, engaging, and aligned with your brand's identity. If you’d like to read more about the benefits of choosing custom photography over generic stock images, take a look at our blog by clicking the link below.

Client Spotlight:

Building Concepts, Inc.

With nearly 30 years of experience in consulting, engineering, and custom home design in the Carson Valley and Lake Tahoe Region, Building Concepts, Inc. (BCI) has built a solid reputation as one of the best in the industry with their exceptional quality, innovative ideas, and commitment to client satisfaction.

BCI has a recognizable logo and established brand in the region. Because of their longevity and sterling reputation, they did not want to change the logo, but acknowledged that the application of their branding had become inconsistent over time.

MCBCreative worked with BCI to establish a brand style guide, update all of their marketing collateral such as business cards, electronic signature blocks, e-stationary, plan title blocks, and project portfolio pages.

BCI has continued to engage MCBCreative to capture images of their completed projects to compile a portfolio of the exceptional work they do in Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and the Eastern Sierra. Click below to learn more about Building Concepts, Inc.

Curiosity Corner

The first commercial photography process was the Daguerrotype. Invented by the Frenchman Louis Jacques Mandé Daguerre and announced in 1839, it used polished copper plates, upon which the image was exposed. This meant there weren’t any negatives. The images could not be duplicated and, therefore, each Daguerrotype was one-of-a-kind.

Although modern digital photography makes the process fast, portable, and easy to share - we still like to think of our clients as one-of-a-kind, keeping the spirit of the Daguerrotype alive!
