National Public Health Week with Advocacy at the State Capitol
In early April, Gregory Pawell, Marketing and Community Relations Lead at Kenosha Community Health Center and Pillar Health joined more than 60 colleagues from across the state at the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association (WPHCA) Biennial State Policy and Issue Forum in Madison.
Greg, alongside WPHCA liaison Carly Meyer, met with staff from eight state legislators to share the impactful work happening at our health centers—including our expansion into the Lincoln-King neighborhood in Racine. Together, they championed the mission of KCHC, Pillar Health, and our partner centers to improve access to affordable, quality care for all.
