Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a congregation that
values a diversity of belief. Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt,
you'll find people who have been there and accept you for where you are.

We welcome all people to worship, pray, eat, seek spiritual answers and enjoy life within this community of faith. All are welcome!
Don't Forget About Thanksgiving Boxes!
As we approach this Thanksgiving, please remember to bring your completed Thanksgiving meal boxes by Sunday, November 20.
All boxes will be delivered to Colonial Heights Christian Church after worship. Boxes may also be dropped off at the church anytime before this coming Sunday. Thank you for participating in this community need!
Youth Retreat News
Hi church family!

We had SUCH a great time at the Holston Presbytery Youth Retreat this past weekend! We got to enjoy the normal camp activities: we ran the rope course, we went zip-lining, we went up to Rock of Ages and saw the sunrise! And on top of all that, we had some special youth retreat fun: we had a camp-wide duck hunt (rubber duckies, not real ones!), we had a Hawaiian Luau dance party, and we enjoyed other games and activities. These few pictures don’t fully capture how great of a weekend it was, it was a blast for all of us!

Our theme for the weekend was “What is in the Bible and why does it matter?” We learned about the Bible; where it came from, what it says, what we should do in response to it, how the bible can transform us, and how it should even have an impact on the lives of people around us. We broke up into small groups and enjoyed discussion and conversation with other youth kids from throughout the entire presbytery. We worshiped and enjoyed communion together. We prayed and read scripture together.

It was truly a special weekend, and I simply want to thank you! This weekend could not have been possible without all of you. Thank you for supporting our youth and the entire youth ministry here at CHPC. I know that this trip meant a lot to our kids and will continue to have an impact upon their lives. I am grateful for all that our whole church does to pour into the lives of our youth.

Grace and peace,
Tyler Paulsen

Serving Alongside Sleep In Heavenly Peace
This Saturday, November 19
CHPC partners with the local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace to construct beds for children in need. We will gather at the Church this Saturday morning, November 19 at 9:00 am, to work on the construction of the beds. This project is open to anyone who is able to participate, no matter your age, gender, or skill level. Please wear warm clothes as it will be chilly.

Special help is still needed to deliver and set up the beds at a later date. Please contact Allen Booth if you are able to help.
