Seeking Patients/Clients to Share Their Kinesiology Experience

Do you have patients or clients who may be interested in participating in a short interview to share their experience with kinesiology treatment, care and services?

We are looking for individuals willing to share their feedback in a brief conversation. Their insights will help inform our Communications Strategy, which ultimately supports our efforts to protect patients and ensure they receive safe, high quality, and competent care.

If you know someone who may be interested, please connect them with us!

Member Survey: Your Voice Matters

COKO is developing our next five-year Communications Strategy to align with our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. As a member, your experience will help us improve how we communicate and raise awareness about the vital role R.Kins play in supporting the health and wellness of Ontarians!

We invite you to complete a short, confidential, and anonymous survey. The survey is open until 5 p.m. on August 25 and just takes a few minutes to complete..

Reminder: 2025 Annual Renewal – deadline August 31

Kinesiologists registered in the General and Inactive classes must renew their registration between July 1 and August 31, 2025. Renewing on time ensures uninterrupted client care and demonstrates your ongoing commitment to safe, ethical, and high-quality practice.

Please be aware that August 31, 2025 falls on a weekend, and the COKO office will be closed. If you encounter issues during the renewing process on August 31, we won't be able to assist you. A late fee will be automatically applied on September 1 if renewal was not successful.

To avoid late fees and potential service interruptions, please renew before the deadline.

Upcoming Council Meeting: September 15 & 16

COKO Council meets at least four times a year to discuss regulatory matters and make decisions in the public interest. Each year, Council members participate in training to ensure their knowledge is up to date and that they are well-equipped to make informed decisions. This year’s training will take place on September 15.

The next public Council meeting will be held on September 16, and everyone is welcome to observe. If you're interested in learning more about COKO’s functions and staying informed about regulatory updates, you can RSVP to observe the meeting.

September Entry-to-Practice Exam

Continuing Professional Development Opportunity: IPAC Resources

Registered Kinesiologists play an important role in preventing the spread of infectious disease. To assist health care professionals in Ontario, Public Health Ontario has recently launched a variety of IPAC educational resources tailored to different health care settings, including hospitals, long-term care homes, and community health care environments.

These resources can be especially helpful if you’ve identified IPAC as a learning goal in your individual learning plan, or if you are otherwise looking for continuing professional development opportunities relating to IPAC.
