Greetings!
Winter classes are underway and registration is ongoing. Find something to spark your creativity over the holidays and beyond!

Photoworks is calling for entries for their upcoming virtual exhibition, Hindsight is 2020 – Street Photography in a Tumultuous Year. COVID-19 and the politics of division have changed public life significantly. From the ubiquity of masks, to social distancing, to protests and empty streets, show what you have seen this the year.

The Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio present their 26th Annual Juried Members’ Show -- virtually this year, so you can view the artwork anytime from home. Also enjoy Director Walt Bartman's interview with this year's judge, Harry Cooper, Senior Curator & Head of Modern Art at the National Gallery of Art.

Just two more days of virtual shopping at the Holiday Art Show to sign up for! We still have some slots available for tomorrow and Friday.

You'll find all the details and links for these activities and more below.

Enjoy!

Call for entries

The world has suffered so many tests in this tectonic year that —while being deeply felt — are also paradoxically largely invisible. Health, environment, politics and social justice are all megascopic; too large to be seen. So how and what can photography begin to inform where words cannot? Submit to this VIRTUAL exhibition today!

Deadline for submissions: January 15, 2021
Notification of juried results: January 27th, 2021
Online Exhibition opens: January 30, 2021
Artist zoom talk: Sunday, January 31, 8pm
