3. Vaping Linked to Adolescent Suicide Risk
A national study of more than 234,000 high school students found a persistent association between vaping and suicidal thoughts and behaviors across all racial and ethnic groups examined. The findings do not prove that vaping causes suicidality, but they support incorporating mental-health screening and suicide prevention into youth vaping interventions. Concerns include academic preparation, technology and continued post-pandemic challenges. (Source: Associated Press)
