It's officially summer in the Northern Hemisphere now. The dawning of a new season.

I have found expansive levels of grace in the truth behind the statement 'for everything there is a season'. To trust and truly know on a deep level that this moment right now will transition and transform into a new moment, a new season with expansive options is...in a word...freeing.

With my CliftonStrengths®️ 'Communication Theme' as one of my dominant strengths, I know I write a good deal more in my newsletter intros. This go around, I am keeping it simple.

As a member of the queer community, every June I pause and offer a moment of silent gratitude for all who went before me and helped carve the path I now help continue to shape. EqualityNC also honors all who came before us by advocating for equity throughout communities. Their slogan says it all: 'Y'all means all!'
