For over five-decades, Dr Raj Reddy and his students established the foundations for these technologies: speech recognition, computer vision, autonomous robotic systems, and universal access to information.
Dr Raj Reddy, the first Asian and till date the only Indian to win the ACM Turing Award (also known as the Nobel Prize for Computing) has been a trailblazer in the field of AI. ASEI felicitates him on being inducted into Computer History Museum Hall of Fame in a ceremony on June 24th.
