WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBER CHRIS RAMOS
My name is Chris Ramos and I have lived in San Diego for the vast majority of my life. I graduated from CA State San Marcos with my BS in communications in 2009 and went on to receive my MBA from Southern New Hampshire University online shortly thereafter.
I have been a devout surfer since high school where I bought my first surfboard from Carlsbad Pipelines. At the time, buying from a small local business at the time felt like the right thing to do. But now I realize it also helped shape who I became. I have always tried supporting the local small business as I feel it is vital to the success of the community. Our small businesses are the fabric of our communities.
I enjoy and support almost all of our local craft breweries, I’m a diehard Padres fan, and enjoy running full and half marathons. I volunteer and sit on boards for Gift of Adoption and Breast Cancer Angels, and was a “Big Brother,” with Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego for 15 years.

Your board members, and guests of honor from lawmakers' offices, sheriff's department, and school boards were so kind to honor the award recipients with their attendance.
