David DaCosta of DaCosta Properties joined the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and was Chairman of the Board in 2022 & 2023. As Past-Chair he continues upholding his core values of service, connection, trust, and community which is a common thread in his work on behalf of the Chamber and with his work as a real estate agent with Harcourts Prime Properties.
David has worked and lived in San Diego for nearly 40 years and he can’t think of any place else he’d rather call home. In 2004, he and his wife opened Jamroc 101 Caribbean Grill and loved making connections with the community and developing life-long friendships along the way. He now lives with his wife in San Marcos and enjoys time with his nearby grandchild.
As a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, David sits on the Board’s Nominating Committee and the Chamber’s Membership Committee, and anyone who has talked to David knows, he values those member connections! Whether it be at a Moonlight Mixer, facilitating Coffee Connections, or volunteering at Oktoberfest, David looks forward to connecting with members and recruiting others to join the Chamber.
