PUBLIC SAFETY DAY

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Public Safety Day! It was fantastic seeing the community come together to meet the Encinitas Police Department, explore the bomb squad car, patrols cars, K9 unit, and participate in the bike giveaway.

Want to shop plastic-free? Check out Local Scoop a grocery store and refill shop that provides an alternative to the traditional shopping experience.

Sustainable Living Tip: Buying in bulk helps reduce packaging waste and allows you to buy only the amount you need, reducing food waste and decreasing demand for foods in plastic.

Don't throw away those eclipse sunglasses just yet! Local Scoop will be collecting sunglasses to donate Central + South America for their upcoming eclipse in October.

The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce in close collaboration with the City of Encinitas joined the San Diego Regional Green Business Network (SDRGBN) as a program partner. This partnership encourages businesses to adopt environmentally sustainable practices and give green businesses the recognition they deserve.
