A New Chapter for Encinitas Chamber of Commerce

Dear Members and Community,

I am honored to address you as the incoming Chairman of the Board of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce. As we embark on a new chapter, I am filled with enthusiasm and commitment to serve our vibrant community.

Our Chamber has a rich history of fostering collaboration, promoting local businesses, and driving economic growth. I am eager to build upon this its 60 year legacy, working hand in hand with our dedicated members and community partners to enhance the vitality of Encinitas.

In the coming months, we will focus on initiatives that strengthen the bonds between businesses and residents. Our goal is to create an even more inclusive environment where every member feels supported and empowered to thrive. Through innovative programs, networking events, and community outreach, we aim to showcase the unique offerings of our local businesses and encourage sustainable growth.

I invite each of you to actively engage with the Chamber, share your ideas, and participate in the exciting events we have planned. Together, we can amplify the voice of Encinitas businesses and make a lasting impact on our community.

Thank you for your ongoing support. I look forward to collaborating with all of you as we work towards a prosperous future for the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce.

The Chambers Environmental Sustainability Committee

wants to let you know…

In the 2018 CAP, the City committed to updating the CAP every five years. The CAP update process has been initiated. Currently, a new baseline greenhouse gas emission inventory and projected emissions estimates are under development.

As the City develops new targets, goals and measures for the CAP, staff will seek public input and suggestions on the actions the City can take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The City will host a number of workshops and public hearings for community members to share their input on the CAP update.

Opportunities to participate in the process will be announced as meetings and events are scheduled.

If you are interested in receiving updates about the CAP update process please sign up for e-notifications for the “Climate Action Plan” here
