Our 2023/24 Rising Star program returns for a second year and will kick off this September! Rising Star recognizes local high school seniors who demonstrate character, integrity, community and school involvement, love of learning and/or the ability to overcome challenging circumstances without compromising their education. |
We are excited to announce that the Chamber has partnered with Mira Costa College to host and sponsor our monthly Rising Star event.
We are committed to empowering our future leaders by investing in them through our Rising Star and Salute to Education programs. The funds raised from these Education Initiatives are reinvested into programs that recognize, assist, and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders.

Welcome New Member:
Jesse Ray Smith
| |
Jesse grew up in the vibrant music scene of Marin County, where Jerry Garcia still reigns king from the grave and the bars are buzzing with live bands 7 nights a week. In July, Jesse released his ‘Back to Yesterday' album with his long-term writing partner Sean Cox. The album is a collection of 8 West Coast Americana songs where Bar band Rock n’ Roll is paired with a fine class of California Pinot Noir, giving these albums vibrant notes of a true American past-time. On the “Back to Yesterday” LP, soaring guitar solos and big CSNY vocal harmonies of the 70’s are paired with string quartets and rubber bridged baritone guitars, giving a current indie-folk flavor that feels unique to this record. | |
