Join the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center as we walk in the annual “Classic Encinitas” Holiday Parade. We will be decked out in festive German garb as we salute Encinitas’ German Roots highlighting our annual Oktoberfest and holiday celebrations. Call 760-753-6041 for event details.

Heritage Tree Lighting

Friday, December 2, 2022 4pm



The Encinitas Historical Society has partnered with The Rotary Club of Encinitas and Ting.com, the local internet provider, in announcing the 28th Annual Lighting of the Encinitas Heritage Tree. This will be held at Moonlight Beach.


The family-friendly musical event will be held in the upper parking lot at the corner of 4th and C Streets. The 90’ tall tree, a Norfolk Island Pine planted in 1952 by the Danforth brothers, Peter and John, was designated an official Heritage Tree by the City of Encinitas in 2011.

Cardiff Kringle Mingle



Join Cardiff 101 Mainstreet, Beam Orthodontics, and Ting, in a holiday celebration! The 15th annual Cardiff Kringle Mingle will be on Sunday, December 4th, 11am-3pm on Aberdeen Drive in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. There will be unique holiday shopping opportunities, live music, holiday treats, and Surfing Santa in his Camera Camper Sleigh. Santa will be available for photos 12-3pm.

CRC Jingle & Mingle Fundraiser


Connect with CRC supporters, staff and volunteers. Dress up in your holiday best and share some of your favorite seasonal recipes.


You’ll have a chance to participate in a Silent Auction that will feature ornamental wreaths, garland and wall sprays. Yes, some of them will have bells that jingle!


Enjoy listening to a short program that will highlight the impact your gifts have on our neighbors who come to CRC in need.

All throughout the year, Community Resource Center helps individuals and families create paths to healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships.


At our 2022 Holiday Baskets, we're serving 800 of our neighbors in need, including seniors, individuals and families, and unsheltered clients experiencing homelessness.
