Workplace Wellness Grant Opportunity

WORKPLACE WELLNESS GRANT OPPORTUNITY



Apply before October 18th

ONE DAY left to be a part of the Industry Day Webinar and Mini-Grant Program!


This grant program is delivered in partnership with the County of San Diego’s Health and Human Services Agency and provides funding for businesses to encourage workplace wellness. Qualifying businesses will be reimbursed for an item purchased that improves wellness at your workplace (for example: AED, lactation fridge, standing desk, hydration station, etc.). Grantees will be reimbursed up to $1,000!


The first five businesses to submit the application and attend the Industry Day Webinar will be accepted into the Mini-Grant program. You will be notified by Chamber staff upon acceptance to the program. Please do not make a purchase in advance of receiving the acceptance notice. Those businesses that have been accepted into the program and notified will be reimbursed.

Historical Downtown Encinitas Walking Tour

This educational tour is offered to all on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Suggested donation of $5.00 per adult. Children and dogs are free!

 

Please meet at the 1883 One-Room Schoolhouse located at 390 West “F” Street. There is plenty of on-site parking. The tour starts promptly at 10:00am and takes approximately two hours. No registration is necessary. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water.

Safety and Mobility Improvement Near Housing Element Sites

The City of Encinitas held three community meetings to discuss Safety and Mobility Improvements near Housing Element sites throughout the city. Three separate zones were reviewed. Zone 1 for Leucadia, Zone 2 for Old Encinitas and Zone 3 for Cardiff, New Encinitas and Olivenhain. The PowerPoint presentations for each zone, and community feedback forms are available on the city’s website.
