Gabriel "Gabe" Rebelo, the current Vice Chair of the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Board, is a valued member of the Chamber, having joined in 2012 and becoming a board member in 2013.
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Gabe and his wife Marcia, now U.S. citizens having immigrated on an L1 visa intercompany transfer, have made Carlsbad their home. They are proud parents of three grown children and doting grandparents to six grandchildren, who bring them immense joy—especially when they’re playing soccer, a sport close to Gabe’s heart.
| |
With more than 30 years of experience owning his own print and copy business in South Africa then, Minuteman Press Encinitas, Gabe now oversees operations at PCH Litho Inc. Grateful for the opportunities life has offered him, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and mentoring newcomers in the industry.
The Chamber played a key role in Gabe’s journey to U.S. citizenship, deepening his understanding of its importance in the community. It’s only fitting that he now serves on the Chamber’s Membership Committee. Whether he’s setting up sound systems at Moonlight Mixers or volunteering at Oktoberfest, Gabe’s warm, welcoming smile is always present. His natural talent for networking, connecting members, and encouraging new businesses to join the Chamber is complemented by his big heart and genuine passion for helping others.
