The process of discovering or being told that your child is LGBTQ+ is likely to lead to a period of questioning and you may experience a host of feelings. You are not alone. Families of LGBTQ children have experienced what you are experiencing.

Parents need to Hear
When parents are learning and trying to manage their responses to children with varying gender identities and sexual orientations (Transgender, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Queer) it is important for them to know and understand that they are not alone. They may not be ready to meet and talk with other parents but listening to others tell their stories is important. This link is a good place to start.
