BAYHEAD ACTION PARK PROJECT UPDATE |

Largo Engineering Services will host project overview sessions to share the design, project schedule, and construction impacts for Bayhead Action Park planned in Fall 2022. Community members are invited to see anticipated design plans for the park, including volleyball court expansion and amenities, parking updates, solar panels, and a new teen activity center. The skate park and dog park will remain as-is, and the basketball court will be adapted to become a multi-use basketball and pickleball court. There are two ways to participate: |

LARGO POLICE TO HOLD FAMILY SAFETY DAY |
Thanks to a partnership between the Largo Police Department and Walmart, Largo Police Family Safety Day will be held Saturday, November 6 from 10:30am-1:30pm at the Largo Police Department. This event will feature a station tour, SWAT display, bicycle safety, inflatables, music, and more. Also, a few lucky kids will go with a new bike!

Join the City of Largo in honoring those who have served with Largo's Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11 at 11am in the Military Court of Honor at Largo Central Park. A welcoming keynote, live music, and award presentations are in store to celebrate our heroes. |

NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH |
Largo celebrates the rich tapestry of indigenous peoples including those that identify as Native American, American Indian, First Nation, Native Alaskan, and other indigenous groups this month. Watch the City Commission Meeting on November 2 at 6pm to hear the proclamation. Be sure to connect with the City on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to learn and celebrate throughout the month. |

The City of Largo and the Florida Department of Health Pinellas have teamed up to host a free vaccine booster pop-up clinic at the Largo Public Library on Friday, November 5 from 9am until 12:30pm. There is NO appointment necessary and you do not need insurance. Vaccines are provided at no cost. Boosters are administered six months after your second dose for eligible individuals.
