Goodbye 2022!
This has been a great year for everyone who participates in Teatro de las Américas.
As the pandemic was left behind, we started the year in April with One Act Plays, "Faith" and “Cosas sucias punto com” directed by Juliana Acosta and "Viajero sin equipaje”, directed by Robert Sánchez.
We continued in June with “Roma al final de la vía”, Directed by Saul Escobedo. The kids from Alina Ceñal's theater workshop excelled with their presentation of “El Rey León” in July.
In September, the theater company 24th St. Theater visited us with “La razón blindada”, by Arístides Vargas. “Jimmie el Payaso histórico de Oxnard” was presented in October by its creator James Donlon, who also directs “Christmas Contigo”, currently playing at our beloved Theatre.
Thank you for a year full of joy and satisfaction! Thank you for attending our plays, for helping us spread the word, and to those who have volunteered at the Theater, and to those who have made donations.
You keep the theater in Spanish alive in these latitudes!
