PongNEWS, a monthly eNewsletter produced by Volunteers of the PingPong.GIVES Charity Foundation - Vol.72

Hi Ken !

March has slipped in and doesn't seem to be slowing down a bit, does it?

It's the "come back" month! Spring comes back; is here! March Madness comes back, and we're in it! The weeds come back too!

For me, March is "personal come back" month. Coming back from 2 hip surgeries within a 3 week period is now a focus. Several close friends, neighbors and family are also in their individual come back modes!

I was walking the culdesac as a part of my PT recently when I realized and was reminded me how "out of pocket" I've been over the last 2 to 3 months. I mean, I'm present and have been immersed, however, I've missed serving my family. I've missed being 100% attentive with our ever so important clients, and I have quite literally not been serving my own charity as it deserves.

All said, please join me in making March your "come back" month.

We've all experienced receiving someone else's help! It's gratifying. And humbling while inspiring to do the same; to serve and give to others in ways that are both personal and public.

What's yours?

Maybe this year you'd consider volunteering with PingPongforCHARITY. It's our 15th year and a milestone to celebrate. We'd love for you to join us. Help us celebrate!

Start a CELEBRATE 15 Fan (or Team) Page -- or Volunteer, Buy A SlamFEST ticket or just stay connected with us.

So, as we make March our come back month, it's really the re-start to serve others and to find ways to volunteer time, talents and heart.
