The LSRPA’s New Jersey Site Remediation Conference (NJSRC) isn't just about learning. We have a lot of great activities planned. You will also be spending time in a fabulous area of New Brunswick, filled with culture and nightlife. Here are just a few of the highlights you can expect to experience at NJSRC:
- On Tuesday evening, join us for the LSRPA Celebration and Awards Event. NJDEP Assistant Commissioner Mark Pedersen will be addressing the membership. We will also be celebrating our accomplishments during the past year as well as honoring awardees.
- The Reception on Tuesday evening is shaping up to be a fun event. Light appetizers during Happy Hour, a full Cocktail Reception, and competition will be featured. Yes, competition. There's a Cornhole Challenge, where the person with the highest bid donation for the LSRPA Scholarship Foundation will get to grab a partner and challenge Joe Postorino (Cornhole Committee Chair) and David Hoffman (NJSRC Committee Chair) to a round. The winning team will receive 2 box seats (total) to the PNC Art Center for a July event (Donated by AWT). The next activity will be a Putting Contest held by the winning foursomes of the 2021 Golf Outing. Winners get $50 discount to 2022 Golf Event!
- In addition to the courses on Wednesday, you can attend the Technical Presentations and NJDEP Topical Presentations - all included in your Conference Pass.

Wednesday's Lunch Address will feature Prof. John Morano and NJDEP Commissioner Shawn LaTourette. Morano is author of a wide range of books, including the Eco-Adventure series. In addition to his presentation, he will hold a book signing after lunch. LaTourette became New Jersey’s Commissioner of Environmental Protection on June 14, 2021. He is looking forward to addressing Conference attendees.
