On September 25 of last year, Jennifer Martin was my radio guest.
At that time, her husband Christopher was being held captive in the ICU at
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
In spite of Jennifer's repeated requests for alternative treatments for Covid to be tried, of course they weren't, and, further, she was "disciplined" by the hospital with visiting restrictions.
For some two weeks she was forbidden to be on the hospital property.
Then, she was allowed a one hour daily supervised visit with Chris.
The "supervision" was courtesy of a hospital security guard.
Chris finally and needlessly passed away on October 7, 2021.
Is this the United States of America?
Have patients and patient advocates no rights whatsoever?
Do hospital administrators hold the power over life and death
That appears to be the case.
And there are very many similar horror stories across this land of the free and the brave.
