Bill King, Wain Bates, and Howard Cothran recently returned from an extended tour with the Replica of the Tomb of the Unknowns through South Dakota and Nebraska, making stops in Souix Falls, South Dakota, and Seward and North Platt, Nebraska. They were met at every stop with citizens who showed their patriotism and appreciation for the project that has created excitement everywhere it goes. According to Bill they were escorted into each city by Patriot Guards, law enforcement, and often other public service vehicles. Below are just a few photos from each of the stops. Upon their return they received a note of appreciation from Julie Shrader of the South Dakota Daughters of the American Revolution. To read the note click HERE.

The group returned to Rome last Monday, and Bill and Wain refreshed their luggage and headed out again, this time with Exchange member Barbara Elliott, on their way to New York and Pennsylvania. Please keep the tomb travelers in your prayers for travel mercies as they honor these who gave all, to those who lived through the times that produced these heroes as well as a generation hearing the stories for the first time.
