Using our Art Room for in-person counseling.
Our Art Room meets regulations for health and safety as an in-person therapy space during COVID. This enables us to increase opportunities for in-person counseling to better meet some clients’ needs.
As sharing supplies is not currently possible, our therapists have been sending art materials home. This allows clients to continue working between sessions. We’re pleased with how well art therapy transfers between telehealth and in-person counseling sessions, and pleased with the progress we see in our kids using these tools.
Lots of art takes lots of supplies...
Every kid (and therapist) knows: you can never have too many art supplies! Staying well-stocked is a challenge. We always appreciate donations of items such as:
Art canvases (small ones that are easily transported)
If you can help, supplies can be brought to our reception desk. Thank you for being part of the healing process.
