**Deadline Extended to 6:00PM Eastern TODAY**

KAED and many partners in the Commonwealth have just received information regarding a DoD funding opportunity for the production of critical items to address the COVID-19 crisis. This is an immediate opportunity for KY manufacturers with a 6PM Est deadline TODAY. If eligible, manufacturers could receive funding from DoD to ramp up production. We apologize for the short notice, but encourage you to share with the appropriate contacts within your networks quickly.
The National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) is assisting the DoD Joint Acquisition Task Force (JATF) in a just-announced request for proposals in the on-going effort to address the COVID-19 crisis. Priorities: n95masks, ventilators, and sterilization/decontamination equipment but please apply if you have other capabilities as well. Apply no later than Tuesday, April 7 by 4:00 pm EST
