Kings Students Volunteer in Mexico
|
|
Sixty-three Kings students
along with some Kings parents and staff members traveled to Monterrey, Mexico over the President's Day holiday to volunteer with Back2Back Ministries.
According to Kings High School Teacher and trip Chaperone, Andy Endress, this was by far the largest group to go on the trip.
While in Mexico, the students served three different orphanages that house 103 children. Endress said, "
Kings students continue to impress me at how hard they can work and how compassionate they are." A group of Kings students have served on this annual trip for the last 4 years. "They worked and played along with children and caregivers that were much different than them," he said.
