Storm Season is Here!

Storm season brings stunning skies, big waves, rainbows, and incredible photo ops to the Long Beach Peninsula and Pacific County. While these powerful storms are certainly beautiful, please be aware of safety. Never get too close to the surf or driftwood, and keep track of the tides! For more information and tips, check out our guide to storm-watching on the peninsula.

Shuck It!

Months with “r” are well known for being the best time for eating oysters, and that’s no accident. Traditionally, cold months bring a more desirable texture and flavor.

For oyster lovers, pick or purchase Willapa Bay oysters to BBQ, eat on the half shell, or to add to your favorite oyster dressing. Or purchase any other fresh seafood that you enjoy! The Long Beach Peninsula has several seafood markets serving the best of the season.

The Pacific County Holiday Event Guide

Holidays are better at the beach. With few crowds, the holiday season is cozy and intimate on the peninsula. Christmas mermaids, a crab pot Christmas tree, and local markets are just a few highlights of the season! Check out all of our holiday events and offerings here!

Shop Small. Shop Coastal.

Skip the big box stores and the crowded shopping malls this year. Instead, spend your money where it makes a difference and discover one-of-a-kind small-town goods that you can’t get anywhere else. Enjoy all the natural wonder the coast affords (plus some seriously mouthwatering local food).

Book your Holiday Getaway at the Beach

The coast is calling. And it’s telling you to create new holiday traditions at the beach. Pick a space to set the ideal tone for your holiday break. The Long Beach Peninsula has a variety of lodging options, many are kid and pet-friendly. Your perfect ideal beach holiday awaits you on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula.
