Fall Updates in ParaĂso:

Blessings, Recovery, and Celebrations

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8

Although we didn’t have a group this fall, in September, thanks to a local expat family, we were able to bless the families in the hills with much-needed food and supplies. We also had the opportunity to bless a few new families. During our visit to Solomon’s home, we learned that he has taken a big step in his recovery journey and is now in rehab. Please join us in praying that the Lord continues this incredible healing work in Solomon and his family.

In October, we had the privilege of hosting a baby shower for one of the women we serve. It was wonderful to combine some of their traditions with more American-themed ideas. It was a special time of simply doing life together, which is Jennifer’s favorite part of life in Mexico—sharing ordinary moments as a community.

Spreading Christmas Cheer

Bless a child this holiday season

This year, we have a special way for you and your family to bless the children in Zorrillo! Inspired by Operation Christmas Child, we’re putting together Christmas care packages for the children at Comedor GĂ©nesis. Each package will be filled with essentials—like a comb or brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, and shampoo or soap—as well as some fun treats like a jump rope, toy car, or Barbie doll.

Each Christmas Blessing Bag costs $23. You’re welcome to include a personal note to the child, along with your family’s name, a picture, or anything else you’d like to add. We’ll distribute these gifts at our Christmas Posada and host a Facebook Live stream so you can see the children receiving their gifts from your family.

We have 50 children in total who need sponsorship. To sponsor one or more children, simply click here (or on the image below) to donate. If you’d like to choose a specific child, click here to message us and let us know.

Thank you for helping make this Christmas special for these children. We look forward to seeing you online at the Posada!

Elias means “The Lord is my God,” and Samuel means “God has heard.”

Psalm 139:13-14

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”

A New Chapter Begins:

We Have Moved!

After more than 4 years and 9 months, thousands of miles, 48 U.S. states, 2 countries, and countless stories, a new chapter has begun—outside of our increasingly small travel trailer. This journey has been both challenging and incredible for our family and ministry.

We’ve now been in our new house for about a week and plan to stay here as we await the building of our future mission center in the hills. When we first stepped out in obedience to God’s call to take our nonprofit ministry on the road full-time, we could never have imagined the blessings that lay ahead—unforgettable places, friendships, and memories.

Reflecting on those years of travel, we’re especially grateful for the time spent together as a family. Those were some of the craziest yet most wonderful years of our lives. Thank you, Lord, for the journey of a lifetime!
