University Connect: Career Guidance


ASEI continues to conduct career talks and clinics under its free University Connect program for students. On Sept 18th, a series of events via Zoom, YouTube Live streaming and clubhouse were conducted for the benefit of students and early tenure engineers to help navigate job search jitters. ASEI Washington DC chapter led panel discussion focused on over 100 University of Maryland students while career discussions involving US students from elsewhere and international participants were held with ASEI office bearers across Silicon Valley and Michigan. Picnic in the park


ASEI had its SoCal Picnic Social event on September 25th at Bill Barber Memorial Parker in Irvine, CA. Around 30 people participated in this event and it turned out to be a huge success. This event included ASEI Southern California veterans, current board members, and students from Cal State Long Beach and UC Irvine.
