Penn Legacy Futures Program
Register Now for Spring Soccer!
For players born 2011-2016

The Futures program represents the Club's youngest players who have a future playing within our Club. Our belief is that "when we create the right environment we maximize the learning process." 

Register by March 26
Futures 3's for Players Born in 2016
The child care provider fully participates in the session along with the child. The program is designed to build confidence in age appropriate activities concentrating on motor skill development, fun and nurturing a love of the game.
Futures 4's for Players Born in 2015
The program is designed to build confidence in age appropriate activities concentrating on motor skill development, fun and nurturing a love of the game.
Futures 5's for Players Born in 2014
The program is designed to build game awareness in an intrinsic environment where we maximize the learning process.

Register by March 15
Futures 6's for Players Born in 2013
Players are grouped by gender. This age will play a 4 v 4 format. Teams will practice once per week from Monday through Thursday. Games are on Saturday afternoons. Teams will practice under the guidance of a volunteer parent coach.
Futures 7's for Players Born in 2012
Players are grouped by gender. This age will play a 4 v 4 format. Teams will practice once per week on Monday evenings. Games are on Saturday mornings. Teams will practice with the volunteer parent coach and under the guidance of Futures Technical Director Coach Rossi.
Futures 8's for Players Born in 2011
Players are grouped by gender.  This age will play a 6 v 6 format. Teams will practice once per week on Wednesday evenings. Games are on Saturday afternoons. Teams will practice with the volunteer parent coach and under the guidance of Futures Technical Director Coach Rossi


Futures Pre-Travel Program (PTP)
For players born in 2011 and 2012

The Pre-Travel Program (PTP) 

The Pre-Travel Program (PTP) offers another avenue of continued growth in the Futures Program.    Players will be divided into ability based groups for training and game days.    Players will become technically and tactically proficient from training twice per week in a travel-like environment. Games will be held on Sundays against Futures or Travel teams or neighboring club teams. The coaching staff will be lead by Futures Technical Director Gary Ross. Additional coaches, who have a vast knowledge at developing young soccer players, will also be part of this new and exciting program.

Fee is $250 for Spring 2019 Season.
Additional cost of approximately $100 for uniform (1 short, 1 socks, 2 training t’shirts and 2 Game Jerseys). 

Penn Legacy Rec Program

PENN LEGACY REC SPRING SEASON
U10, U12, U15 Boys & Girls, U19 COED
For players born 2000-2010  

Limited Space Remains.

All boys and girls are welcome to register for Penn Legacy Rec soccer teams with no residency requirements. Teams are formed in the following league age groups: U10, U12, U15 and U19.

Penn Legacy Rec teams participate in league play within Lancaster County. This program builds on fundamentals and teaches players about sportsmanship and teamwork.  

  • Teams have two weeknight practices and games on weekends. 
  • Practices start week of 3/25.
  • Games start April 6 for Boys and April 7 for Girls
  • Uniform jersey cost is separate - see details on registration page. 
  • Registration fee: $105 
  • Registration tentative End Date: Feb 25, 2019 or earlier as age groups reach capacity)
  • Late Registration Fee - $25 After Feb 11, 2019


Note:
  • U10 girls is accepting registrations on a waitlist. Additional coaches and assistants are needed.
  • U15 boys Assistant Coach(es) needed. Monday and or Wednesday availability a must.

Scholarship Opportunity
Penn Legacy Annual Scholarships are Awarded Annually to Graduating High School Seniors 

Attention Rec Program Participants

The Club desires to recognize and honor selected Penn Legacy players who, through their efforts, have promoted and exemplified the spirit of soccer in the community. The Club Scholarships were first awarded in 2003.

Scholarship applications must be postmarked by April 30.

SPRING RUGBY
REGISTER NOW!
PLAY RUGBY in 2019 with the PENN LEGACY/HEMPFIELD high school, middle school and junior teams.

  • The Spring match schedule typically runs from Early March thru Mid-May.
  • Matches will be with teams who are current members of USA RUGBY There will be 7-8 regular season matches and playoff matches depending on their success during the regular season.
  • The girl’s matches are typically on Sundays at 12 PM.
  • Boy’s HS matches are typically at 2pm. Junior Boys follow.
  • Make-up matches may be played on weekdays or Saturdays.
  • Shedule is set by the PA Rugby. Knightmares home matches are played at Centerville ES or the Hempfield HS stadium. 

ABOUT THE KNIGHTMARES RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB (EST 2006) The Knightmares are a member of Rugby Pennsylvania and USA Rugby. Rugby PA is a state based rugby organization formed in 2012 and recognized by USA Rugby as the official youth and interscholastic rugby administrator in Pennsylvania. The Knightmares boys field a HS and junior side. The Knightmares girls field a HS team for 7th thru 12th graders and an attached middle school/developmental side for 6th through 9th graders. The Knightmares are a club team, open to all.  There are no residency requirements. No experience is required.
