A SPECIAL FILM SCREENING

We're so thrilled to be co-hosting the LA premiere of "Once Upon My Mother" with the LA Jewish Film Festival, as a celebration of our 10th year of service. This inspiring story tells the tale of a mother's fierce love for her child and determination that he has the life he deserves.


So many of you on this mailing list know exactly what the journey of supporting a family member with a disability is like, and this film is a love letter to that. We hope you'll stay after for panel of amazing "fierce moms" discuss their journeys of supporting their children with disabilities.

This month we're welcoming our new Marketing and HR intern, Oliver. He has worked directly supporting adults with developmental disabilities and now works with the organization in writing copy, graphic design, website management, using analytics data to improve Google and Facebook ads, assisting with our transition to a new CRM, HR and administration work, outreach projects, and marketing and fundraising for events. In his spare time he is involved in conflict mediation, teaching yoga, playing guitar and hiking. We're so happy to have him on board!
