DAHS FOOTBALL PLAYER SELECTED FOR BIG 33 TEAM
DAHS Senior Mitchell Groh has been selected by the PA Scholastic Football Coaches Association to the 2021 Big 33 Team. Mitchell becomes only the fourth Dallastown student to receive this honor. Congratulations, Mitchell! We wish you the best of luck in his future endeavors on and off the field.

Congratulations to our Senior Wrestlers and Cheerleaders as we celebrated their Senior Night last week.
2021-22 District Calendar-at-a-Glance Approved
Last evening, Dallastown Area Board of School Directors approved the 2021-22 Calendar-at-a-Glance. Sneak a peek ahead:
  • 7th grade students and 9th grade students will be introduced to the Middle School and High School on Wednesday, August 25
  • The first day of school for all grades will be Thursday, August 26
  • The tentative last day of school will be Friday, June 3
  • Snow make-up days built into the calendar include: February 18 and March 31
7TH ANNUAL DALLASTOWN MINI-THON
Dallastown Area High School will host its 7th Annual Mini-THON virtually on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Students participating in the Dallastown High School Mini-THON® 2021 are joining more than 90,000 students across the country to help conquer childhood cancer. This fun-filled event for high school students inspires teamwork, leadership, and creativity while empowering them through philanthropy and service in the fight to conquer childhood cancer.

Dollars raised by Dallastown High School Mini-THON® 2021 support some of the latest breakthroughs in childhood cancer research. Having a better understanding of how cancer works will help Four Diamonds’ researchers develop new, more effective treatments to test through clinical trials and save more lives.
DASD REMEMBERS FORMER DASD BOARD DIRECTOR
The DASD Community mourns the loss of Margaret Ibex. Mrs. Ibex served on the DASD Board of Directors for three years, representing Region 3 (Dallastown, Jacobus, and Loganville Boroughs and Springfield Township).

Mrs. Ibex played an integral role in establishing and including a high school student representative in our Board Meetings.
WEEKLY COVID-19 UPDATE
Currently Dallastown Area School District has 9 active cases within the District. This does not include the previous cases of which the individuals have recovered from COVID-19 and have returned to our buildings.

The District continues to work in collaboration with the PA Department of Health to conduct contact tracing investigations. As a result of these investigations, the District will notify those individuals who are considered close contacts and advise them to self-quarantine, accordingly.

DASD DAILY SCREENING TOOL
To allow guardians to quickly conduct daily health screenings, Health Services has developed a Daily Student Screening Tool to assist with symptom screenings and recommendations surrounding students returning to school.

If your student display's symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your primary health care provider and your student's school nurse.
