NEWS & UPDATES
VIRTUALLY CELEBRATE DALLASTOWN ELEMENTARY
In September, we shared that Dallastown Elementary had been selected as a National Blue Ribbon Award recipient. While we had hoped to celebrate in person, this year we will celebrate this accomplishment virtually. We are fortunate to have great teachers, students, and families, along with a supportive community to share this award with.

As a community, we are proud of Dallastown Elementary's accomplishment and want to thank and acknowledge the hard work of our entire K-12 learning community, as this award would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of many.
DASD STUDENTS AND STAFF GIVE BACK TO COMMUNITY
On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Dallastown Area School District students and staff gave back to the community by participating in an annual blood drive.

Together, the DASD family was able to save
246 lives through their donations.

We are thankful for the DASD families support of our community.
INCLEMENT WEATHER AND EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION
Throughout the year, there may be times where Dallastown Area School District must communicate news of a closing, delay or early dismissal to students and their families.

Here are the ways in which we share this information:
  • Automated Phone System
  • Email Notification with Phone Recording
  • District Website (www.dallastown.net)
  • Social Media (Facebook & Twitter)
  • News Media: ABC 27, CBS 21, FOX 43, WGAL Channel 8, WIFT TV33

With the increasing amount of automated spam calls, we have noticed that various phone service providers are reviewing phone calls before they are received by your phone.

In the event that we need to reach you for an inclement weather or emergency notification, we ask you that you add Dallastown Area School District's phone number to your contacts to ensure that your phone provider is not flagging our calls. This would be the phone numbers 717-244-4021 and 717-244-4022.

If you have any questions regarding receiving messages and/or need to verify the phone number and email address, please contact your student's building office.
